Lynnwood at a glance

Although Pretoria is a city where Afrikaans is the prominent language it hasn't stopped American influence in the naming of its many suburbs. Distance from key points (Airport/CBD)

If one wishes to travel to the central business district of Johannesburg it will take roughly 46 minutes depending on traffic and is just under 60km in distance. If one wishes to travel to the OR Tambo International Airport from Lynwood its will be roughly 30 minutes travel time and 43.4km in distance. If one wishes to travel from Lynwood to the central business district of Pretoria its believed to take roughly 17 minutes and is plus-minus 12km away. 

Transport

There is a Gautrain Bus service that runs from Hatfield to Lynwood. One can also travel the extensive minivan taxi services that run throughout the entire Western Cape region. One can also travel to the Pretoria Train Station which has trains which run all over the greater Gauteng area or other parts of the country. Lynwood is also well connected via municipal buses and metered taxis. 

Malls/Shopping

Lynwood has some world-class shopping facilities which include Lynnwood Bridge Retail, Glenfair Boulevard, Hillcrest Boulevard, Lynnridge Mall and The Grove Mall. 

Restaurants 

The Lynwood area is full of great places to wine and dine including The Hussar Grill, De Kloof Restaurant - Tuscan Dining, Hillside Tavern, La Monaco and LM in the East.
