The project has been titled the "Conradie Better Living Game Changer" with a budget of R3bn they hope to create roughly 3 602 places of residence with construction set to commence by the end of 2019. According to the same news report 1 764 of these residential units are going to be subsidized for lower income users and the rest will be open to the public.
The project is also apart of a bigger renewal programme which will see further enrichment to the area in terms of infrastructure. This includes public parks, schools, opportunities for office space and commercial investment and other entertainment locations.
